This per-pupil cost is up more than 7.8 percent over the 2008-09 school year. The per-pupil costs are projected to increase 6.0 percent for 2010-11, 4.4 percent for 2011-12 and 5.5 percent for 2012-13. This results in a per-pupil cost of $13,286 for 2012-13. NEW Watchdog Vote

The NA-PL Schools’ 2008—09 year-end surplus of approx. $16 million is before new taxes from last year’s operating levy begin collecting. Knowing this, should the BOE place the planned Permanent Improvement (PI) Levy on the November ’09 ballot.
